PUBLIC NOTICE
There will be 6 FREE In-Person Classes provided that will cover the ICC 2021 IECC Essentials with Louisiana Amendments for New Residential and Alterations to Existing Residential Buildings. The new energy code requirements for Louisiana became effective July 1st, 2023. This training opportunity is being provided by the Office of State Fire Marshal, Southeast Energy Efficiency Alliance (SEEA) and the International Code Council (ICC) as part of their implementation of a grant received from the U.S. Department of Energy to provide training and technical assistance on the most recent residential and commercial energy code updates to the building energy workforce in Louisiana.

If you do not already have an IMS Login account you will need to create one. If you are a LSUCCC registered inspector, architect, or engineer you will use the same IMS Login account to register for the class. On Home Page choose Training (at the bottom of the page), Course Type: Plan Review, Status: Available, click Search and you will see the class numbers/locations, click the class that is located closest to your area in order to complete your registration. (See the below flyer and instructions to register.). If you have any questions concerning registration, please contact johanna.eddlemon@la.gov for assistance. The class size is limited so please register early before they fill up.
